The following topics will be covered

 

·         Modern day designing and manufacturing methods

·         The pros and cons of different mouthpiece materials

·         How new designs evolve – this includes extensive field trials (it’s always the horse’s response that is the deciding factor)

·         Changing attitudes brought about by research and development

·         The importance and benefit of a suitably comfortable bit whether a pleasure rider or serious competitor requiring a legal bit for that discipline

·         Mouth management

·         Common misconceptions such as ‘fat is kind, thin is severe’

·         Introducing the bit

·         Dressage legal snaffles

·         The developing horse – kind control

·         Dressage legal doubles

 

The talk will last for approximately 45 – 60 minutes. After the talk we will have an open question time which will give you the opportunity to discuss any issues you may have.

During the day riders are invited to come along and have private one to one consultation with Neue Schule, however, booking is essential.
